FTC chairman appoints key senior staff

Andrew Ferguson names directors of the bureaus of competition and consumer protection as well as the FTC’s general counsel.

Lucas Croslow, former deputy solicitor general of Virginia has been appointed as the FTC general counsel.

Daniel Guarnera, formerly the chief of the Civil Conduct Task Force at the US DOJ Antitrust Division, will lead the bureau of competition.

Christopher Mufarrige, who was previously senior adviser to the director and deputy director of the CFPB, will lead the bureau of consumer protection.
