London’s Digital Transformation Expo unites industry thinkers

The Digital Transformation Expo (DTX) at the Excel centre in London brought together hundreds of speakers and exhibitioners in October to discuss innovation challenges.

The GRIP team was in attendance to hear dozens of panel discussions and company speakers addressing themes as varied as AI, cloud transformation, cybersecurity, sustainability, the metaverse, and cyberwarfare.

Over 300 speakers contributed, including high-profile guests Formula 1 driver Jenson Button, investigative journalist Carole Cadwalladr, and financial commentator Susannah Streeter. A host of experts from the banking, technology, and public sectors also took to the podium. Speakers came from Meta, Jaguar Land Rover, The LEGO Group, PwC, HMRC, and many more.

The Main Stage hosted C-suite and innovation leaders, who explored how the latest technology advancements can be anchored to drive business change, bring greater resilience and build competitive advantage. Ten additional stages focussed on cloud transformation, devops, cybersecurity, data, automation, and hacking, among other things.

Exhibitors included Benq, Cisco, Freshworks, Google, and Zoom.

A recent McKinsey report stated that while eight out of 10 survey respondents say that their organisations have undertaken digital transformation projects in the last five years, fewer than 30% have been entirely successful. With its expert speakers and exhibitors, DTX’s stated aim is to light the path to a successful digital transformation for organizations.

We’ll be examining some of the themes covered over the next few days on GRIP.
